  1. Hi, Hiding your ip address usually amounts to changing your ip address, and then changing it again. There are several options for changing your ip address, depending on your configuration: 1] Always delete your browser cookies before trying the following suggestions 2] If you're using dialup, simply using a different dialup access number will almost always change your ip 3] If you need to do this often, you can make the whole process simpler by using an ip changer service like iprivacytools.com to change your ip address. 4] For those using cable/dsl (no router), go to your START menu, type "cmd" and hit enter. At the command prompt, type "ipconfig /release" and hit enter. Then type "ipconfig /renew" and hit enter. 5] If #4 didn't work and you're using cable/dsl (no router), then try this: go to your START menu, type "cmd" and hit enter. At the command prompt type "ipconfig /release" and hit enter. Then right-click on your "local area connection" and click "properties". Double click on "Internet Protocol tcp/ip". Click "use the following ip address" and enter 111.111.111.111 for the ip and 255.0.0.0 for the subnet mask. Click OK, and then OK again (close the dialog box). Wait a few seconds, then go back into that dialog box and instead of "use the following ip address" click on "obtain an ip address automatically". 6] If you're using cable/dsl with a router, login to your router's control panel and change (clone) your mac address by increasing or decreasing the last digit by 1. Then disconnect and reconnect using the router control panel interface. Usually you'll get a new ip address. 7] If none of the above worked, go to your START menu, type "cmd" and hit enter. Then type "ipconfig /release". If you're using a router, log into your router control panel and release the ip. Then turn of your computer, modem, and router for severals hours (e.g. overnight) 8] If nothing has worked, contact your isp and tell them you're having some problems with your current ip address and want a new one. They should be able to give specific steps to get a new ip. That ends your session and starts it again. you can then type "IPCONFIG /all" to see your IP address.
  2. You can unplug and disconnect from you cable dsl for a few hours. When you plug back in you should have a new ip address. Another way would be to select start on the task bar, then select run and type in cmd. On the command line type ipconfig /release and then press enter. After that completes type in ipconfig /renew. This will also reset your ip address.
  3. Trying to access some foreign blocked sites are we? I can't really help you until I get a real reason.
  4. you absolutely cannot make it happen any way except knocking out power to your entire neighborhood. You'll just have to wait for it to happen or use a proxy. As for how to find and set up a proxy, check out in this article http://www.ehow.com/how_2259495_around-forum-website-ban.html It's probably for exactly what you're trying to do too lol. And it explains it in a really basic way so anyone can do it
  5. You can do it only with anonymous proxy servers. Using public available servers (open proxies) like for examples from http://www.proxyblind.org is not option because they are free, accessible by anyone and because of abusing usually over a couple days dead. Anyway check these 2 articles: http://www.ipaddresslocation.org/change-ip-address.shtml http://www.ipaddresslocation.org/hide-ip-address.shtml
