Why would my printer connected to my wireless home network all of a sudden stop working?
I have a desktop which is plugged into my printer and my wireless network. The printer is set up for sharing, however, when I go to set up the printer on my laptop, nothing shows up. It's not detecting it. The really strange thing is that this worked a few days ago. What 's going on?

- u have to refresh the connection every 5 to 6 days
- There is a sharer cable available in the market. Connect this to the printer and the 2 ports on the sharer cable to your 2 computers. Then you will be able to print from both.
- You desktop is sharing its printer with your laptop, meaning that you desktop must be on whenever you want to print from you laptop. You may be happier with a print server. e.g. LINKSYS PSUS4 PrintServer for USB with 4 port Switch RJ45 1 x USB ($60 from newegg.com) A print server behaves like a PC that's attached to your printer, but it does nothing else. Best thing is you can leave it on all the time with your printer, especially since the 4-port switch on it becomes a handy extension to your router.
