How do I get my windows xp laptop to recognize my wireless card?

I just did the system recovory on my notebook but now when i put my Beklin Wireless G Notebook Card in not thing happens, it dosnt come on and the computer dose not recognize it.

2. Reinstall the soft ware for the card. You also can go to devise manager and check to see that it is enabled. Go to programs add/remove and see if program is listed for Beklin soft ware.
