How do you make a D-link wireless card work under Fedora 6?
I have the CD with the drivers but they are for Windows not for linux. How can Fedora 6 recognize my wireless card. See that's what i hate with linux , I wish things could be easy. In 2007 Linux can't recognize a wireless card.

- In 2007, companies still won't write Linux drivers for wireless cards. To use it, you will probably have to install ndiswrapper: http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/joomla/ Ndiswrapper will then use the Windows drivers for your wireless card to make it work in Linux. If this is a new card, I would take it back and say it is defective, and purchase a card from a manufacturer that supports Linux, like Linksys or Atheros.
