How do I know if my laptop came with a wireless card inside?

I have an internet cable connection and I want to set it up to have wireless internet. How do I know if my laptop already came with a card inside?

1. look up the specifications. it will say something about wireless if it has it. what model is it?
2. Look on the laptop to see if it has an Intel Celeron chip. Most of the time that will be your best indicator. Otherwise, check your system specs.

5. If your laptop is still a pentium 4 - chance is there's no wireless card inside if it's a intel centrino - there should be a wireless card inside
6. Right-click on My Computer and go to Properties. On the Hardware tab, click on the Device Manager button. Click on the + by Network Adapters and if you have a Wireless card, it will show up there.
7. You need a router Wireless to set up your connetion and buy a usb card.

If it's a big box-maybe not. When you are ready for the cable connection people, call them and they will walk you through the process. They can tell if you have one or not. If not, they will sell you one and install it at your home. Also use Google (computer model number etc)
12. You can check your laptop if it has a wireless card inside by going to the device manager tool, or you can check/view your network place connection and see the available networks in your window... by the way what is the model of your laptop? so that i can look for it thru Internet.
