what should I look for when purchasing a wireless network card for my sisters laptop?
Seems as though the built in wireless card has given out on her. Her computer has not been picking up our wireless network for some time. If I buy her a new card is there a good chance that will work for her? Also, where can I find a good one at a decent price?

- laptop pcmcia cards are usually upwards of 40 bucks. will it work. Maybe. that happend to me before and after i tried to reinstall the drivers from the website to try to fix it, i gave up and reinstalled my pc basck to factory specs. now it works great.
- get one from a reputable manufacturer. not only is it gonna be more reliable, but you'll have an easier time solving any issues, generally speaking. if her card once worked, but now it doesnt... it might be worth going to a shop to buy it (check the return policy), so you can take it back if it's not the card that's the problem... and you wont have to piss around waiting for a refund by post
