How do I make my wireless card a network?
My mom installed the cingular wireless card on her laptop but it only provides internet for her. Our other computers show a connection to it but when we try to open our browsers it shows no connection. i have a laptop also but it wont work on that either. its called sierra wireless aircard 875. im not sure

- Is that a wireless broadband card? Or it is a Wi-Fi card that connects to your home router? For the former, I think there is no way for her to share the internet connection with you. for the latter, configure your wireless settings to connect to the router.
- don't know if you have a wirelee modem or?? first go to start connect to my connections . if there is a connection there try to enable it.if there is no connections try running the connection wizard
- If it is using a wireless router you probably need the encryption key. The address given for configuring the router by another answer may not be correct, there are some 50 or 60 addresses used commonly for this.
- You need to set your router to accept the other computers, perhaps your mum done something to the setting so the router only accepts hers. Do this... from your main computer, from where the router was orginally installed in enter "192.168.1.1" (without the "), this will take you to a site where you can configure your router. Do some exploring there (you may need to eneter a password and username, usually its ADMIN as the username and PASSWORD as the password or sometimes its ADMIN for the password), have your router to accept all wireless adapters. I can't give you any specifics as I don't know the router you have. It should work after that.
