How do i put my ip address in address bar?
When i put my address into the address bar it just says that they couldnt find the page and that its a bad request. Im trying to do this because i am trying to get my wep key. I have linksys and its model is wrt54g. The ip address i have is 84.166.197.76. ANything would help Thanks. hmmm. ive tried everything you guys said but its still isnt working.

- first of all to log into ur router u dont use ur isp ip address you use 192.168.1.1 on linksys and the user name is linksys and password is admin, also dont use a wep key it can be cracked in minutes use a wpa psk key with a good password you make.
- The IP address you listed is what's referred to as a "public" IP address and is most likely the IP address your internet service provider assigned to you. This is the IP address your linksys uses to talk to the internet. However, that is different than the IP you use to talk to the linksys. Assuming it hasn't been changed from the default value, the IP address you would use to talk to the links is most likely 192.168.1.1, so you would want to type http://192.168.1.1 into your browser address bar. If the router is configured to require and encrypted connection the address may instead be https://192.168.1.1.
