  1. Go into your router's settings.
  2. Go to control panel, network connections, right click on wireless, find "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)", double click on it, select "Use the follwing IP Address:" type in the info you want to use.
  3. You log into the wireless router control panel. Then you follow the instructions in the manual for your wireless router. You router should be acting as a DHCP server NAT enabled. It should be issueing a range of IP addresses from 192.168.0.1 through 192.168.0.255. This can be changed to any value from 192.168.0.1 Through 192.168.255.255 If you change it to something other than that, Good luck.
  4. Your computer is not communicating with your router. It may be too far away. Check your wireless configuration on your computer and see what networks are available. Refresh the list if you need to. If you don't see your network, then either your adapter isn't working, your router has a problem, or you're too far from your router to get the signal (or have too many walls in between). You can verify by hooking your computer to the router with an ethernet cable. If that works, look at the definition of the wireless network on the router.
  5. check your router IP range and try to configure your computer NIC (lan card IP) to Static IP it must be between your router IP range or may be there is problem on your router or with your computer check signal of your router too
  6. Two ways: 1) Goto your router setting. Type in 192.168.0.1, if that does not work, then, 192.168.0.16. 2) Go to control panel, network connections, right click on wireless, find "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)", double click on it, select "Use the follwing IP Address:" type in the info you want to use.
