How can i obtain the ip address from the url?

is it the same way for blogs?How we can calculate the ip address? what are the different methods to calculate the ip address from the given url?so that i can store the ip address in the DB rather than the URL.

1. Click Start -> Run -> Type cmd then press Enter -> in the screen type Ping URL then press Enter You can optain ip from there
2. don't worry that much. simple try ping <URL> in the MS DOS window. Start> Run> Command will take u there.
3. start>run>ping <url> -t or open the webpage go to start>run>cmd> netstat -n
4. start -> run -> ping url (eg: ping www.yahoo.com)
5. if you want to know what is the exact IP address for any web site, go to start menu --> RUN --> CMD and press enter now type netstat -n -b make sure you only open one internet explorer window, then it will show you that internet exploere is connect to remote IP ???.???.???.???
