How do I save a static ip address setting?

Here's my situation... I have been having ip conflicts with my home wireless network. I solved this by giving each pc/laptop a static ip address in the TCP/IP. But when i go to my campus to use their wireless I have to set it to automatically assign an IP address, this wipes out my information and I have to reassign the static IP when i go back home. Is there anyway to save the settings for each network?

  1. Yes, use two network profiles.
  2. I don't think there's a way to save both network configuration in one network adapter. Just try to configure both in the same manner. since you have the privileges to configure your network settings in your home why don't you change it from static to dynamic IP just like in your campus network. second, you can buy another network card for your campus network and install it in your laptop. Third, I think it easy to configure IP addresses, so why bothering you to change it every now and then... Cheers!
