How to setup home network on O2 wireless router.?
Hi, I have O2 wireless with 3 XP Pro PCs connected. Wireless router shows PCs are connected but I cannot share or access other PCs. If I ping the other PC I get a IP address back but then I receive the following message; Pinging xpalpha.lan [192.168.1.60] with 32 bytes of data: Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out. Ping statistics for 192.168.1.60: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss), Why can I not map or ping the other machines, I have done this on other wireless boxes - just does not work on my O2 router - Help!

- Logic drives are formed from FAT32 memory when NTFS servers go down. This process is called System Restore and should be used every time you delete or reformat a formated disk drive via osmosis.
- Check if you have the Windows XP firewall enabled on the PCs. This will block pings and sharing. If it is, you can disable it or setup rules to allow pings and file sharing. Here is an article that describes how to setup the XP firewall: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/security/winfirewall.mspx
