Wireless router?

hi. I use a router since we have 3 computers at home. Although our computers are connected with wires, the router CAN BE USED FOR WIRELESS NETWORK. Recently, the downloading speed of file has been decreased often. So, I took out the wireless antenna thing that sends the signal. AFter that, the internet speed came back normal. Does this mean that someone was leeching from the router??? hi. How to put passward? thanks

1. If you have done nothing to secure the router, it is very likely.
2. perhaps simply put a password on it
3. it's possible. you should enable security on your wireless router. taking the antenna out doesn't guaranty that no one is using your Internet anymore. open your browser and login to your router and enable the security and choose a passkey. to log in go to http://192.168.1.1 or just look at your connection details and get this ip address from the line that shows your gateway ip and type it in your browser.
