Wireless Router?
My brother has a PS3 and I have a wireless lap top. He bought a belkin wireless router. When I attempted to install the wireless router on my laptop it said that it was not correct for the network adaptor on this laptop. I then asked a work colleague for advice and he said I needed to set my laptop to wireless status via the control panel. When I did this it went to an install wizard which went well until it said I needed a flash drive? All of this has left me more confused than when I began. I would be most grateful if someone could advise on how I actually install the wireless router in basic english, step by step.. I am at my wits end with it as I thought it would be simple! Anyone who can help would be a hero for sure :-)

- Hi, sorry your work friend told you a "Porky" just do this, connect the router to your laptop using a LAN connection (cat5 cable) then install the router software again and set up your WEP password etc, this way the router will be setup from your laptop. then disconnect the LAN connection, and connect again to the router using your Wi-Fi connection on your laptop, hope this all helps you.
