Wireless Card?
Hi, I dont have a wireless card in my laptop. but got a wireless connection in my hotel room. i need to use the internet how can i connect. is it mandatory to have wireless card or can i donwload any software to connect to wireless connection regards JG

- Sorry but you do need the wireless card. You can pick one up just about anywhere for $30.00 Up. Ask the hotel desk if they have a lan jack you can plug into. Almost all laptops have a lan cable unless it is very old.
- Yes, you need a wireless network card. Try something like this USB Wireless dongle: http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=247904&CatId=307 Just a warning though, here in UK Hotels it is exstremely expensive. One hotel I was in was £5 an hour for access!!! Crazy when home monthly fees are £20 a month.
