- Okay, Wireless N as they call it is like a newer standard for wireless technology. (Sort of like VHS moving to DVD in a general sense). If you get something like an iPod touch or laptop, after plugging your router into your modem they will have internet. If you want another desktop to get internet off of your router, you need to buy a Wireless PC card for it.
- A wireless N router is better. when you get the router, you set it up on the computer that is currently connected to the internet by the cable. once its set up, anything that picks up wireless (ipod touch, psp, cell phone..etc.) will be able to use the wireless in your place. if your older computer dosnt have a built in wireless card, you will need to buy a wireless adapter for it, they cost about $40.00. the setup of the router is fairly simple, you put in the disk into your computer and follow the simple instructions.
