can i use a spare Netgear wireless router as a wireless network card for a desktop pc?
can i do this instead of going to buy a brand new desktop pc wireless card? just connect it through the ethernet ports or something?

- No. You need a NIC. Go to newegg.com and look for one. They are quite inexpensive.
- Not really. It's possible, but you would need to be an experienced network technician. If you can move your DSL or Cable modem & wireless router near your computer, then you could just plug your computer into the wireless router's LAN port and be surfing in no time.
