Dell Inspiron laptop wireless card. Which one?
I am considering buying a new Dell Inspiron laptop for a backpacking trip around Europe. I know about most of the parts but one thing I am not very familiar with is wireless cards. I want to make sure I can connect to the internet while I am traveling in hostels and other places with wireless internet however I don't want to pay more then I need to. My options are... Dell Wireless 1395 802.11g Mini-Card +$0 Dell Wireless 1505 Wireless-N Mini-card +$60 Dell Wireless 1490 802.11a/g Mini-Card +$40 Intel® 3945 802.11a/g Mini-card +$40 Intel Next -Gen Wireless -N Mini -card +$60 Does anyone know what I can expect from these cards? I have been told Intel connects better but there are 2 and I don't know how big the gap is.
