buying a new computer, with satellite, send recive, wireless home network?
pc shopping and have a few questions. First of all will be useing satellite,what will we need for modem for that. also this will be the main computer for a home wireless network, will I still need the wireless router I am using now or can i add something to the new computer and eliminate that. We are just average computer user, internet, email, few games. what proccessor and memory. what version of vista?

- the satellite provider will send u a modem and u can most likely use ur current wireless router and no u cant use wireless without it ... get over 2ghz processor and about 2gigs ram ... and if possible get it with XP with option to upgrade to vista ... u dont want vista at this time trust me ...
