Need help with wireless pc card!!!!????

Ok so I have a linksys wireless router whihc came with a wireless card I ussually use for my laptop. Can i put this card into a regular desktop pc to receive wireless internet. Does an ibm thinkcentre pc have a slot for this card?

  1. You'd have to buy a PCMIA adaptor to use the card on a desktop PC. I've seen them on the net, they're expensive and probably hard to get. http://www.gadgetizer.com/2006/05/30/usb-to-pcmia-adapter/ You're better off buying a wireless LAN card made for the desktop for about $20
  2. one answer no, you need a usb wireless adapter for your pc, also if your connected to the router through your pc you wont need either
  3. short answer is no. u need a converter to use the laptop wireless card on a desktop
  4. no it does not not the correct slot anyway
