How can I share my iTunes library over my home wireless network?
We have two computers in our house, one is an eMachine desktop and the other is a Toshiba Laptop. The laptop has iTunes and has an extremely large library of music. My main question is how can I share my library over my home network so the other computer can access it? I have gone to preferences in iTunes and enabled library sharing on both computers but still cant access the library. I tried to right click on the iTunes folder in the start menu and enable sharing but it doesn't give me the option. It says it's private and only I have access to it and theres no way to change it? I'm pretty sure that this is the problem http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p6/jkaczor010/untitled.jpg ^^^ What do i do if that doesnt work?

- easy just set up a network i have done the same thing then share the itunes folder go start, music see the itunes folder, right click sharing and security share this folder on the network
- Yuu ave to setup the network between the two computers first. Just plugging them into the same router does not make them networked together. -On each computer you need to enable file and printer sharing -On each computer you need to rename the workgroup to the exact same thing -On each computer you need to put the other computers IP address in the trusted computers zone To do this run the network or wireless network wizard in control panel.
