1. the pci ones yeah there are usb which will connect to ur usb on the computer
2. Not all of them. Some use the USB port. I use one that uses my Credit Card slot on my notebook (easier to pack when I am travelling, plus I don't use the Credit Card slot for anything else). If you don't have either of these slots, if you look around, you can probably find 1 that uses ther serial poer or the parallel port (I would recommend the USB or Credit Card 1st). If you have a desktop PC, since you probably aren't comfortable with working on it, I would recommend using an internally mounted wireless as a last option -or- if you dont have a USB port and are using the other ports for ther devices (you can buy hubs (expansions) that you plug into your USB port if to give extra connections if you are already using it), and consider paying the store a few bucks to install it for you.
