Wireless card?
I just bought a new hp pavilion dv6707us with windows vista. I am looking for a wireless card so i can use around my house and take my laptop to go? My house a modem though. Does anyone have any suggestions on what kind of wireless card i can get. Also i want one that is fairly price and fast speed. P.S. Do i need a wireless router?

- You will need a wireless router if your ISP did not give you a modem with wireless capabilities. A good wireles card is made by Linksys, Netgear and DLINK. You want to get one that is at least as fast as the wireless router will allow connection with. Should the wireless router use G or H technology, then get a wireless card that will match this technology. The higher the letter rating ( G,H ,N etc. ) the faster connections will be able to obtain wirelessly.

I use a Linksys WRT54G wireless myself, but you can get the WRT54GS which has SpeedBooster Performance Enhancement all-in-one Internet-sharing Router, 4-port Switch, and up to 35% performance enhanced Wireless-G Access Point.
