Wireless Card?

I just got a new laptop with a wireless thing built in to it. But to connect to a network, do I need a card thing to go into the laptop to connect to the internet?

1. If you have a wireless access point in your network, such as a wireless router. you should be able to connect to the network and the internet just by using the built in wireless in your laptop.
2. No. Most laptops are wireless ready. It sounds like yours already has a wireless card in it. It should be ready to go.

To be able to take advantage of that feature you need to have a wireless router (a wireless box that you connect your DSL or cable modem into). Also you will be able to take your laptop along with you and be able to connect to public wireless (hot spots) some coffee shops have it, most hotels have it, etc.
4. You need a wireless router configured with DHCP (dynamic host configured protocol) and security. you can get this from any computer shop and request them to configure.You connect your ISP to router and access Internet net by wireless network.
