How do I set up a Linksys wireless home network?

I have never used a Linksys router before, I'm trying to set up a home network for a pc running Windows XP which will be wired to the router, and a new iMac that will be connected wirelessly. Just wondering if anyone has any step by step directions on setting up a linksys router.

1. just take the ethernet cable from the modem and plug it into the "internet" or "ethernet" slot, and it should give off a wifi signal....then if you want to connect with a wire, put an ethernet cable into the slot #1 and then plug the other side into your MAC or PC.....
2. didn't the router come with instructions? mine did. if you buy it new, it will have a little booklet and a cd. if it's used, you can get the manual from linksys.
