Wireless Card?..?

I have dell inspiron 1505 laptop and it has wifi. Im trying to increase my wi-fi signal so i can use the wireless in my neighborhood. I can get free internet on the first leve in my buildin but as soon as i get to the seconde level i lose the connection. I live in the 3rd level, so i was wondering if i get a wireless card would it increase my signal?? And wich wireless card yall recomend?? Thanks..

1. If you buy a wireless N router and Wireless N Card you will better range and data transfer
2. You can buy a repeater, or you can buy a wireless router with a booster in it, or you can try moving the router to another area to see if you get a better signal. Hopes this helps
3. you will get more rec. with a card because it has a better antenna, but wifi doesent like height, you will need and extrenal antenna to get signal.
