How to setup a Wireless Network?
I have got the router hooked up and a laptop with a wireless network card. The router is hooked up and my desktop internet works. But my laptop still says no wireless networks were found in range. How do I setup a wireless network. I already tried wireless netork for a home or small buisness but it aint work Thanks so much for the respnonses after i called tech support i relized my router isnt wireless :(

- Call tech support , this same problem happened to me but after a long 6 hrs we finally fixed it many steps though
- is it a wireless router is the first question ... then u need to go to the connection properties and the ip properties and see if its on auto ...then check the wireless adapters properties and maybe compare the settings and channel to what the routers config page has ... then run the wireless wizard and check that the ssid is entered ..
- You have to be sure that the router you have is a wireless router. Go into the router and set up the wireless connection. If you do not enable this, then you will never be able to connect wirelessly. Go into the router, go to the wireless section. Give the wireless a name and enable it. Add some encryption for security. After taking care of that part, your laptop should automatically pick up the new connection around. Good Luck.
