how to setup a wireless network?
I need to setup a home network with 3 computers: 1- desktop xp home which will be connected to the router D-link 624 2- laptop xp home with wireless built in 3- apple laptop top of the line it has aiport thing internet ready, I don't know anything about apple computers sorry This setup is just to go online, using broadband (Comcast ) nothing about file sharing. I would like to get information step by step how to do that since I have no knowledge at all about apple computer and I am going to do that for a friend, I am pretty much confident with windows . Any help will be really appreciated. 10 hours ago - 3 days left to answer.

- I know you are looking for detailed instructions. Well if you are setting up a secure wireless network. You will first have to configure the wireless router for secure access using a security protocol, e.g. WEP, WPA... Next step would be to configure the devices on the network to connect to the wireless router. Both Windows and OS X have built-in utilities for managing wireless connections. OS X should have a wireless utility icon in the top of the task bar. More instructions can probably be found on their website.
