Doom3 over home wireless IP Network setup?

I am thinking about purchasing Doom3 and want to play over my home wireless IP network. I have a couple of questions: 1) Do I have to have multiple purchased software CD's of Doom3 to have multiple computers running at same time? 2) Is the multiple player difficult to setup on an IP Network? 3) Is the performance of the game acceptable when played over a wireles network? Thanks for your help!
