Is It Possible To Use A Wireless PC Card On A Desktop?
I have a Wireless PC Card which I was going to use on a laptop but decided I didn't want it. So now I want to setup a wireless connection on my desktop. I was wondering if the Wireless PC Card would fit in to my Desktop. If so where?

- If this is a PCMCIA card then NO. You can get a wireless usb adapter whcih simply plugs into the usb port on a pc for a wireless connection. Have seen these for around 40 dollars or so.
- no there is not ...because there made only for laptops (sorry)
- You will need to get online to computer manufacturer's website or get out your Users Guide. I can't imagine why you'd want to though, as you won't likely be wanting to carry around a monitor and keyboard. Perhaps I didn't understand your question?
- no, this won't work as the right connection does not exist, you can get a USB adapter that just slots in the back how ever just by one
- PCMCIA cards don't generally fit into a Desktop. They are intended for laptops. You are better off buying a network card and putting it into your desktop. ---------------------------------------------------------------- You are better off putting your router near your computer and wiring your computer to the router. This requires that you have router that accepts wired and wireless. (Assuming you'll still want to hook up your laptop wirelessly).
