  1. you mean the laptop has it "built-in" right? in that case, no you dont need another one
  2. no, you don't, your built-in card will work.
  3. No the wireless card that came with your pc should work.. You need to go into network connections, and if you see it there then just right click and enable. If you dont see it there, check the device manager, in the settings icon in the control panel.. Find networks, and see if its on. if it is on check your start menu for something that would be the wireless card.. You want to open it and start it, It will tell you that it cant find a network, or it will work..
  4. No, you don't need another card. Take your laptop into a hotspot and use the Network Setup Wizard to set up wireless. If your internal "card" is working, it should locate the hotspot and ask you if you want to connect. If you have a broadband modem you can make a hotspot at home by using a broadband wireless router.
  5. nope. but next time be sure what u r buying :)
  6. I believe you have what is called a Centronix capability, which is essencially a built in wireless card. This will give you the ability to connect into any wireless network you have permission to access. There is no need to buy another wireless capability for your laptop. PS: There is probably a 'Centronix' lable on your laptop somewhere. If you see it, that would be your final indicator you do indeed have built in wireless capability.
