Wireless Linksys Home Network. Trying to add new computer. Forgot Password. Can I find it anywhere?
I just got a macbook and for about a week now it has had no trouble connecting to my home network (wireless). But I am unable to connect for some reason now and it is asking for the password to the network. I have forgotten it by now, is there a way I can access the password from another computer on the network? Please help!

- You could reset your whole network by pressing the reset button located on the router. Once you do this the password should be reset to "admin". Though, you'll have to set up the network again on each wireless device you have.
- If you have a PC getting online through the router, preferrably wired you can use it to access the router's Wireless settings. Make sure you've disabled any firewalls before you begin and disable any pop-up blocker. Then open your browser (IE, Firefox or Safari). Type the router's IP - by default its192.168.1.1. Leave username blank, and by default, password is admin. Click on the Wireless tab on the Setup page. You'll see a sub tab Wireless Security. Take note of the security settings and key or password. If a Passphrase was used to generate a Key, Mac will just need the Key. If WPA was selected, you need the password. Hope this helps!
