IP address?
Is there a way to get somebodys IP address without being at their computer? Somone has been getting into my AIM account and I was wondering if there was a way to get their ip address from my computer. Is this possible without sending any programs to them? I have changed my password multiple times too. If i could maybe get an IP address i would be able to handle it that way.. maybe notify the authorities.. because i think it is somone that i know.

- only the provider can get the ip address...u wud not be able to get the ip without getting a third party program installed on that computer.
- Not really, are they sending emails/texts to some one else? How do you think they are getting on to your aim account. Create a strong password of at least 8 characters don't use common words etc and mix uppercase/lowercase letters and numbers. example say your name is Jason create something like J@s0n@Aim then use it a couple of days if someone is still accessing it change it again, and again... If they are still accessing it you more than likely have a keystroke logger on your system and will continue to have the problem till you remove that...
- You can get there ip address if you can get them to go to your website that can let you see it... (simple php script can do it...) Or you can run an aim addon if you can talk to them via aim... But an IP address means CRAP cause for most people there ip address changes daily or even hourly..
