Home wireless network?
I have two win xp computers ( one is pro, the other is not, but are sp 2). On my latop ( the better of the two) i ran the windows wireless home network wizard and gave a name and put in a usb stick, it then told me to put the usb stick into my router ( its a wireless dsl ), the router has no usb port so i just went to step 3 and put it into the other computer. It told me i had added this computer to the group NAT. After that i have no idea how to make both of them talk to each other and share stuff? any ideas?

- just dont let windows manage your wirless settings, i stoped letting it and it worked a whole lot better
- first of all right click the icon on the task bar that shows connection and open network connection then right click wireless connection then properties then wireless network click add write the SSID the name on your router or the manufacturer and fill for your securiyt and the wep key. This manual, First youo hace to switch on your wireless card if is built in. Thank you if you have any question let me know
- Connect your laptop to the router with a network cable. Follow the routers instruction manual to set it up. This would include giving the router a name, choosing security, etc. Then use the wireless networks tab of the network configuration to add the router to the preferred networks for both machines. After you have both machines talking to the router, you can share a folder by right clicking on it and selecting share.
- you need xp pro on both
