How can you browse the internet without your IP address and other info being seen?

How can you surf the web (secretly) where no one can see your ip address and know any info about you or your computer?

  1. You could use a proxy server. Either use an external proxy server such as ktunnel, or use a software such as Anonymyzer
  2. You need to use something called a proxy server. This will hide your IP as well as location, internet company etc. What you can do is go to a website that hosts information on proxy servers and will give you their details in order to use them. I have copied a link in sources block. What you need to do is select which type of proxy your are after. Anonymous is the one you are after hence the name anonymous. Once you have selected which country you want to use then you need to type the details into either the internet browser to hide your track while surfing or you internet connection settings in windows for any connection to the internet. Beware that proxy servers are not invisible for people to get through such as authorities or Internet Service Providers. But it is pretty save. Choose it carefully as some may be dangerous. SETTINGS: For Firefox: >tools>options>advanced tab>network tab> Click on the first "settings box" under connections heading, then select manual proxy settings, then select "manual proxy configuration", then type in the code from from the website you should not type in the port number such as 8080, this goes into the port box. When you have typed that all in ignore the rest and click on all. Of you want settings for windows email me.
