How to set up a home wireless network?
i haven't bought any equipment. i plan to use it for file-sharing such as games. but i read i have to buy (network cards) but i don't know if it is the same as (network adapters). i don't know how to set up all the router wiring from my broadband internet connection. i have three unused computers which i plan to use. but the Access Point, wiring, configuration, and everything related seems difficult. i would really appreciate step-by-step instructions WITH NO DIFFICULT WORDS I WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND throughout the connection of my wireless network of three computers using high speed internet from TWC(timewarnercable). I have read many articles about this but i just don't find the easiest way of setting up my three computers using routers, network cards, ethernet connections, and configuration.

- Look go to Walmart Buy a Cisco Wireless Router. It's like 40$ Plug it in and put a password into the WEP They give you a BOOKLET. It's so simple just plug the TWC internet to the ROUTER's INTERNET line and you're DONE... I worked at TWC, don't pay them money for the router. It's more expensive (SAME PRODUCT) and they will charge you 30-50$ for service tech PLUS you might even pay rental fee on that router. Good LUCK
- First of all, a network card is the same thing as a network adapter. That was easy, wasn't it? :) Now to your question...it's really easy to set up a wireless network. I don't know where you got the impression that it's difficult. Any wireless router will do; you can usually find one for about US$50. (I recommend against Netgear: their tech support is not very good.) Just connect the router to your Internet feed, and connect your computers to the router, with wired or wireless connections as appropriate (most wireless routers include some wired connection ports as well). For more specific instructions, see your router's documentation. But don't worry about it being difficult; most routers these days practically set themselves up for you!
