How do I find out if my IBM thinkpad laptop has a wireless pc card?
And what type of wireless router will work for Verizon DSL. Already have the DSL service for my other computer, but would like to hook up my laptop. Thanks.

- good question! click on Start, then select Settings, then Network Connections. A list of network services will be listed, including one called "Wireless Network Connection. If this is listed, your thinkpad has the card. good luck!
- I am a certified IBM Tech. If I knew your exact model and serial number I could find out exactly what you have in it. Any wireless router will work. Here's how you find out by yourself: Click on "start", then right click on "my computer" and select "properties". Select "hardware" tab. Then click on "device manager". It will display all your hardware connected to the computer.
- right click on my computer icon on your desktop, click properties, hardware, device manager then look for network adapters and see if there's a wireless device listed under it.
- go to a place that has a wireless network check your conecctions in the control panel if you have a wireless connection, and is turned on, you'll be able to get the signal. cheers
