  1. where are the directions from your router? the pcmcia settings should tell you how.
  2. run your setup cd you got with your wireless card, or go to control and click on network setup wizard, or call rour network provider and they should tell you.
  3. connect your router to your computer first. go to router setting page. Depending on your router, for example, linksys router IP is 192.168.1.1 - you have type that on your internet browser. then the user name and password, check your router manual for that. Then just follow the instruction of your ISP. It depends who is your provider, which country you live, etc, etc. when your router is set, install the PCMCIA driver first on your laptop and wireless card drivers on your PC then install the PCMCIA and/or the PC wireless card. The system will automatically will find it. And then you will see an icon appears on the bottom right hand corner of your tool bar. Double click and you will see your router and click connect. Remember to encrypt your router from intruders and for security. Good Luck.
