Classes In Team Fortress 2- Part Two
The support class is arguably the most important class on Team Fortress 2. You will find the support class all over the map supporting the scouts. Support also keep the heavy stocked and ready.

The main responsiblity of the medic on TF2 servers is to heal. You will therefore find any good medic right on the front line, supporting the Scouts and Soliders. Their job is in healing there fellow comrades but also trying to stay out of the firing line as much as possible. His weapons mediocre, the medic should stick to healing and use his weapons as a last resort. By shooting an ally with the medigun, the medic will receive a bonus of 150% on his own health. However if the medic stops healing then the players bonus health will slowly degenerate back to normal. The medic and his ally will be made invulnerable for 10 seconds once an ‘over charge’ is achieved. This bonus is very effective when used with a heavy who is attacking a base and you’re stood out of shot giving him a health boost. The Sniper’s main weapon is the sniper rifle. For his secondary weapon, he carries a sub machine. A machete is used as his melee weapon. The Sniper is that guy that always takes you out from long range and that you can rarely see to get a fix on. If you like hanging back and picking off targets from distance, you’ll enjoy the Sniper class. To be successful you need to find the out of site hear to find areas. Once you have found you little hidey-hole the sniper can pick off targets like the heavy with ease.You can also if you can take out that Medic that’s healing the heavy. Once you’ve taken out the Medic, it will allow your team to progress much quicker. Staying scoped in on your target for longer will increase the power of your shot. This is indicated by an expanding laser scope. On the downside, don’t expect to be able to pick off targets at close range with this weapon. Also, even though you also have an SMG don’t expect much from that either unless its close range, but something is better than nothing in an all else fails situation. If you’re the type that likes taking an enemy scalp from 400 paces then the sniper is waiting.
The spy is the James bond of Team Fortress 2 servers, using a cloak and disguises to blend in and sneak behind the enemy lines. With the butterfly knife he can take out foes in one smooth movement. However, be aware this move isn’t instant. If you move out of range you can be spotted. Your discuise will be revealed if you use anything other than the sapper. The electro sapper is used to take out engineer’s buildings, disabling them and slowly destroying them. The engineer can remove the sapper with a tap of his wrench, so make sure you take him out next. Don’t forget that if you can see the disguise on a spy, he’s friendly.
